We decided on a last-minute night away after checking the forecast, and were lucky to find a room here. It was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view. The host made us feel welcome, and breakfast was a simple full English with vegetarian choices and really good coffee. There’s a cosy lounge, though we didn’t use it since the village pub was just a short walk away. A lovely stay, and I’d happily recommend it.

The setting worked brilliantly for exploring the moors, and we had safe parking right on site. There’s a pub about five minutes away on foot, though bring a torch as the road has no street lights; we enjoyed the food there, and other pubs are a short drive away. We loved our three-night stay, including an evening in the lounge. Booking direct was easy, communication was great, and check-in was straightforward. The room had plenty in it, including good coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast was freshly cooked by Rachael, with lovely local ingredients. Ruth greeted us each morning and had loads of helpful knowledge about the area. You’re both doing a cracking job, and we’d highly recommend staying.

We wanted somewhere quiet, and this was just right. The hosts were lovely, attentive and helpful, and it made a great base for walks and local sights. We hope to come back. Thanks for the warm hospitality and those amazing poached eggs! 😄

Ruth, one of the owners, made sure we felt at home, and the whole place has such a relaxed feel. I especially loved sitting in the window seat overlooking the beck. The rooms, breakfast, location and service all suited a peaceful getaway perfectly. We couldn’t have been happier and will definitely return x

Hutton-le-Hole is a beautiful spot for a night or two, and Stuart and Lesley's guest house made our visit feel personal from the first booking call to checkout. Their care and attention were clear throughout. It was a genuinely human kind of hospitality, a welcome change from places that feel formulaic and plastic. A definite five stars, so don’t hesitate to call.
