If peace and quiet are what you’re after, you’ll find it here, with lovely birdsong as the exception. The cottage is beautiful, spotless on arrival, and very well equipped for two.

We wanted somewhere properly remote, and Rivers Rest was just right. We’ve just come home after five fabulous days in a winter wonderland, with great walks nearby. The restored barn is small but cosy, immaculate inside, and has everything you need. There’s plenty to do within an easy drive if you want to get out.
