Staynorwich Apartments

We barely slept and left annoyed. The first night, neighbours played loud music until the early hours. The next night, someone smashed another outer door in the courtyard, and I had to call the police. The apartment is in one of Norwich's roughest areas, which made the wait for a missing garage key more worrying. I was concerned about leaving my car parked on the street there while the key was being sorted. We never had hot water ready to use. You had to go through a series of steps to fire up the boiler and wait for the tank to heat, meaning a shower took 40 minutes to prepare. The apartments aren't really “premier” or “luxury” compared with rentals I've used in other cities, though the kitchen and living area were well equipped. They're cheaper than booking hotel rooms for four or more people, but for one or two, they cost about the same as the Holiday Inn in the city centre. I didn't get around to calling the organiser afterwards to discuss a discount, and I doubt that would have changed my view. She did try to sort out the problems, so I've added a star for being friendly and approachable.
