Alice and her husband Andrew made us feel very welcome, with helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat, along with other practical tips. The breakfast was tasty, generous and offered plenty of choice. Our accommodation was clean, pleasantly and cosily furnished, with excellent beds and everything we needed. It’s a handy base for Stonehenge, Salisbury, the nearby coast and the New Forest National Park. There are several good pubs nearby, including one right next to the B&B.

Already missing this lovely little place and would happily come back for another relaxing break. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to keep the room spotless each day. They also added some lovely little surprises. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with plenty to choose from, freshly baked croissants and the best bacon I’ve had in ages. Such a great find.

We liked it enough to come back quite soon, and have now stayed in both rooms. Each one is beautiful and very comfortable, with high-quality furnishings, lovely beds, a good-sized sofa and a beautiful bathroom stocked with Bramley toiletries. Air con and heating cover all kinds of weather, and the outdoor space is beautiful. Alice and her husband are warm, genuine hosts who make you feel welcome without being over the top. They were also brilliant with our dog, who’s never seemed happier at a B&B or anywhere similar. Breakfast has great options, whatever you choose, it’s a treat. This is the best-value B&B I’ve ever stayed in, and I don’t think you’ll find better value for money.

The location worked really well for visiting the bird nature reserve and exploring the New Forest, and the pub right next door was excellent. We had our own private cabin room, and our hosts were friendly and welcoming. They cooked us delicious breakfasts on both mornings. We loved our stay at this fabulous B&B.
