The garden was so peaceful, and the view was amazing. We also loved having the donkey and ponies around. It’s close to Rye and Hastings, with lovely beaches nearby. Inside, the period cottage was clean and comfortable, with good beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of room for four adults. Dogs are welcome too. We’d definitely stay again.

We spent nearly two weeks here and were more than happy with our stay. The peaceful, beautiful surroundings made it feel like a dream, and the cottage was perfectly clean with all the amenities we needed. The host was friendly and helpful too. Rye is just 10 minutes away and worth spending a few days wandering around. Sondstrand takes about 15 minutes to reach, while castles, lovely pubs, including very good food at the Ferry Inn, and World Heritage sites such as Canterbury are around an hour away.
