Lion House Bed and Breakfast

Andrew had plenty of useful local knowledge and shared several recommendations for places to visit. The Lion House is also ideally placed for exploring Exmoor and the North Devon coast, with its spectacular scenery. We enjoyed the range of breakfast options, and our spacious room had a bay window area. Andrew welcomed us warmly, and the friendly atmosphere made this a great B&B in a lovely area. Definitely recommend.

There were loads of vegetarian and vegan choices, and the food was excellent. Andrew clearly cares about the B&B, with thoughtful touches all around. We had an amazing stay. If you're in Coombe Martin, stay here. I can't recommend it enough.

The owners have covered all the little things that make a stay better, from fresh milk in the room for a proper cup of tea to fluffy towels and robes. The menu is outstanding and the service was perfect. Don't even think about going elsewhere for dinner. Words can't describe how fabulous this B&B is.

We only wished we could've stayed longer, and we'll definitely be back soon. Our other accommodation fell through, so we arrived very late one night. Andrew answered and was kind and understanding, even at 10pm, and we were so grateful to find such a lovely place at the last minute. The rooms are beautiful, immaculate and brilliantly equipped. Andrew is beyond lovely, and breakfast was delicious with a great selection.
