Mullacott Farm

This was the best stay my friends and I have had. If you're visiting Woolacombe, you have to start here.

We stayed in May 2022 for a Devon wedding and forgot to leave a review at the time. The location worked perfectly for us. It was a little tricky to find, but once we arrived we got a lovely welcome. As Covid was still very prevalent, the hosts carefully talked us through the arrangements for the rooms and bedding. It was our first stay anywhere since before lockdown, so that was helpful and reassuring. I grew up on a farm in Cornwall and felt right at home. The room was warm, cosy and very clean. There was a little noise, but it's an old building, so that wasn't unbearable. We didn't need breakfast, though the alternatives to the usual options were clearly explained and thoughtfully planned. The price for two nights was excellent, and we had a lovely chat when we checked out. We'd definitely come back. Thanks so much!

It's a lovely, clean and tidy place, and I especially liked the farm animals. Getting there by car was easy, though it's less straightforward on foot or by bike. The accommodation is well away from the main road, so you can't hear the traffic, but there's no pavement and cars go fast.

We had a great stay in a lovely area. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the hosts were kind and helpful. We even came home with fresh farm eggs :)
