Score Valley Country House

We had a perfect honeymoon here, thank you! Leigh and the other staff were really friendly and made us feel at home. The rooms have everything you need, with very comfy beds. Breakfast offers cereals, yoghurt, toast and a full English. Score Valley is a lovely Devon getaway, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Ilfracombe is walkable, though there’s a hill, which we didn’t mind as we’re used to hilly places. Barnstaple is an easy drive away.

A relaxing stay in a lovely countryside valley, with a good location and buses and taxis available if needed. The rooms were clean and breakfast was great. Lee and the staff were good hosts. Thank you all.

The hosts were so kind and thoughtful, and helped us get going on our long bike ride. They were relaxed and attentive, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Thank you.

Donna and Paul made our few days at Score Valley lovely. This was our second visit, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Donna is a fantastic host, with a great sense of humour and lots of useful tips about local places. Paul’s delicious full English was a great start to the day. The grounds are peaceful and well kept. Our room was clean and spacious, with fresh bed linen and towels, plus a small fridge and a kettle for morning tea. We were glad to bring our little dog, and they even catered for the dog’s needs, a lovely touch. We’d happily recommend Score Valley and look forward to another visit. Thank you, Donna and Paul.
