The beer is great, the service is fantastic, and the staff are friendly. It’s especially fun on some Friday evenings when the ilfracombe male voice choir are singing. Everyone has a good time.

A nice pub with Sky Sports on a choice of three screens. The owners and staff are friendly. Plenty of locals drink here, which is fine if you don’t mind that. Would recommend.

We ended up getting a pizza and eating it in the beer garden, with some drinks. We’d planned to eat at pack o’cards down the road, but their chef didn’t start until 5.30pm and we were starving. The Castle Inn didn’t serve food, but when we called they said we could bring takeaway in, no problem. It’s a big pub with lots of space, a lovely beer garden, friendly service and locals. We’d happily return for drinks and the traditional pub atmosphere.

Best pub in Devon, and the cleanest too!!! Proper hot hand dryers, not baby breath ones!! Lovely staff. You’ve got it just right!!

Lovely outdoor area, sports on a projector, and a free pool table and darts. Great pub with really friendly staff.
