We spent the weekend at the Dairy House for my partner’s 30th birthday, and our pup loved her little getaway too. Dogs are welcome for a small fee. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and super comfortable beds. It’s in a perfect location. The hot tub was a lovely touch, and the log burner added to the spa feeling. We arranged the recommended private chef, who was impeccable. The food was amazing, and they were lovely people. The housekeeper was on hand for our needs. I’d love to visit again. Can’t recommend it enough, thank you so much!

Deer, squirrels, birds and other wildlife can be spotted around this stunning setting, especially if you keep your eyes peeled. The house sits in the grounds of a manor house, with an oak-lined avenue and rolling meadows where deer are often seen. It’s beautifully kept and finished to a high standard, with luxury throughout. The beds are really comfortable and the bedding is top quality. Great for a family get-together, with everything you need for a break provided, just bring your own food and drinks. There’s a lovely wood-fired hot tub in the garden, though it takes some getting used to or you’ll slowly cook yourself alive! The kitchen is lovely, with a separate dining area seating about 20. The living room is comfy and relaxing, with a log burner and all the wood supplied and cut. Amazing place. Love, love, love it.

A great place to stay, and it’s also home to Shindig Festival.
