Just awful. The room wasn't clean: there was encrusted food in the fridge, a thick layer of dust on the TV unit, and dirt stuck to the bathroom blinds. When I pointed out a dangerous loose floorboard in our room, the owner immediately got aggressive, shouted at me and told us to leave. We would have left anyway. My autistic daughter was with me and was traumatised by seeing this. £150 per night for this?

The room had an amazing view, a very comfortable bed and plenty of space. The location was handy too, beside Loch Fyne Hotel for dining and a short walk from the town centre. A few details for future guests: I booked the SUPERIOR DOUBLE, which older photos showed with two beds, but it's since been redone with one queen bed and seating. The bathroom is en-suite but not private, as the frosted glass walls are still very see-through. That might be fine with a spouse, but not with friends or family. There aren't any shared spaces to lounge in, just your room.

The outside could use some attention. The grass needs cutting, things need trimming and tidying, the patio furniture could use fresh paint, and the garage door should be closed. But once inside, it's a warm and inviting home. Crawford checked us in and took us upstairs to Room 1. It was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful furnishings, a lovely view of the lake and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The next morning Janice served us a delicious hot breakfast in the beautiful dining room, starting with a tasty granola fruit cup. She and Crawford do a very nice job running their bed and breakfast. Parking is tight and the stairs are steep. We'd stay here again.

I just got back from two nights at this wonderful B&B. Janice was a fabulous host and went above and beyond to make sure the stay was perfect for me and my elderly parents. The rooms were comfortable and lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Our trip was so memorable. I'm heading back to Australia now, but I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you, Janice.

The room was clean, and the hotel is well placed, though we had trouble finding the driveway at first. The shower in room 5 wasn't great. Fine for a night, but we thought the facilities didn't justify the price.
