James made the hostel feel especially welcoming, and it's lovely that he tends the greenhouse, raised vegetable beds and bird feeders around the grounds. The place was clean, affordable and had all the facilities we needed. Inveraray is small but there's plenty to see, with walks nearby, Castle Campbell and its grounds and woodland, a little harbour by Loch Fyne, and lots of places to eat. City Link buses also connect the town with Glasgow, Oban and Campbeltown. A really good hostel in a nice place to visit.

James was so helpful, and might even bake flapjacks to keep you going on your walks. The location in Inveraray is great, everything was very clean, and the simple rooms do the job. The mattresses were comfy, and tea and coffee were provided. 😃

James, the site manager, was really friendly and helpful. The hostel is right in town, with locked storage for bikes, and it was very clean and comfortable. Good facilities for cooking too. Highly recommended 👍🏴

The room was small but comfortable, and the kitchen had a decent amount of equipment for its size. The owner was friendly and always glad to help. It's a lovely hostel in a great spot. Free tea and local coffee were a nice touch, though the drying room wasn't particularly warm.
