We had a great evening with the lovely people from Inverbervie, and somehow all those wee drams didn't leave us with a hangover. After a short walk following dinner, we came back to the bar for a wee dram and really enjoyed everyone's company. The room was clean, and goldfinches came to forage on a tree branch right outside our window. The owners are lovely, the food was very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening in the bar. During dinner there was an accident outside, and my partner helped out a bit. We hope to return in a year, there's still plenty of the beautiful Scottish landscape to see, and we'd love to see everyone again. Posted a month after our visit.

The food was fantastic, and the service was great. We came with the family for a meal and a few drinks, and the place had a nice, cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

The room was disgusting and dirty, room 11, though luckily the bed was clean. The rest of it was in poor condition. There was a shower over the bath but no screen or curtain, and the shower head was too low to stand up in the bath and use it. There was no fire door to the room? The place is advertised as a hotel, bar and pub, but the pub wasn't open after 9pm. After the first night it was shut. We spoke to the owner, who said it would be open for the next few nights. The next night we were kicked out at 10pm when it closed, and on our last night it wasn't open when we got back from sightseeing at 9pm.

The staff serving us and the barman were very nice, and the food was excellent. Compliments to the chef. The room was lovely and clean, with a very comfy bed. Thanks again.

Dinner was delicious. We had to wait quite a while, but after 10 days in Scotland it was the best meal I'd had so far. Thank you. It's a nice, calm hotel in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing day when you're on the road for 14 days.
