Apartment 306 by the Bridge

There was construction across the road, with drilling from about 7:40 in the morning until 7:50 in the evening, weekends included. The apartment was extremely noisy, and the disruption made the stay stressful and unhappy. The agents were friendly and quick to respond, but there wasn't anything they could do. I also had concerns about security, including neighbours coming onto other balconies. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Once we'd got the key situation sorted, we had a great stay. The apartment is spacious, and the kitchen is well stocked. A binder in the apartment explained how to use all the appliances. It's very convenient for both the train and bus stations. Picking up the key from a taxi stand was a little awkward on the first day. We didn't need to contact anyone, so I can't say how the service is if a problem comes up. Still, this is easily the best apartment hotel I've stayed in.

The apartment and the view were great, but for six guests, including children, we needed more towels and blankets. They didn't provide anything for babies, either. There was no WiFi or first-aid kit on hand. The stay was worth it if you bring along the extra things you'll need.

When I work away from home, I usually stay in hotels, so having a lounge and kitchen was a nice change. I could eat in instead of going out and just have a bowl of cornflakes. The accommodation was clean and tidy, and well placed in the city. It does what it says on the tin.
