The hosts were so welcoming that I felt at home straight away. The décor is stunning, full of quirky details, and the attention to detail starts as soon as you walk in. My room was immaculate and thoughtfully set up, with plenty of tea and coffee, a very comfortable bed and extra pillows, plus a spotless bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower and lots of toiletries. It’s a great base for walks into the city centre, and free parking was a bonus. Wi-Fi worked everywhere in the hotel, and I can’t wait to come back on my next trip in 2026. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The building is very nicely decorated and the room itself was pleasant. But we booked specifically because breakfast seemed to be available, based on recent reviews and the room listing. The website didn’t make it clear that breakfast had stopped altogether. When we got to the room, there was just a sheet of paper saying it was no longer offered and suggesting their restaurant instead. That wasn’t what we wanted, and it was disappointing. There weren’t any towels in the room either, not even a hand towel. We asked for some in the morning.

A lovely little find in Inverness, with a great location and well-appointed rooms. The hosts communicated really well. We loved our two-day stay and highly recommend it.

We had a great stay at Aye Stay. In the morning we enjoyed the Scottish Breakfast, and the location made it easy to get around. We walked about 12 minutes to dinner at their restaurant, Aye Eat, with lots of shops and bars playing live music nearby.

We loved all the character here. The décor is quirky and cute, and the hotel was really clean. It’s also very close to the town centre, so we were able to walk everywhere. What a gem!
