The apartment is very central, but the noise from the club downstairs kept us awake until 3am on both nights we stayed. We also found out from the information folder that there isn’t enough hot water for four showers in the morning, so only two people can shower then and the other two have to wait until night. For the price of a two-bedroom apartment booked for four, I didn’t expect to have to work out who gets to shower. Parking was another problem. When I asked about two spaces while booking, the owner said she’d do her best to make sure they were available. On arrival there was only one. My husband called her, and she said the apartment came with one space. It seemed clear that there had never been a second one available. If she’d been honest when I asked, we wouldn’t have booked. We eventually found another space for the second couple, but I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re fine with being kept awake and showering arrangements like that.

We had room 405 for two nights. It’s a lovely apartment, but the washer and dryer didn’t work properly, and there was a mouldy smell. It seemed like there had been a water leak somewhere. The washer-dryer needs fixing, and the smell needs sorting out.

We booked four nights in apartment 405 at the Bridge St Apartments in Inverness, but only stayed about 15 minutes after arriving. The place stank of mildew and was nearly uninhabitable, so we left and found somewhere else. The owner was Gislea Cummings. She shouldn’t take people’s money while presenting an apartment in that state. The behaviour was appalling. Just don’t stay here. Any favourable reviews must be fictitious. I wanted a refund, but didn’t get one. Booking overseas accommodation online has its perils. I’d like to take further action to stop people like this from simply swindling your cash.

The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up, and we had a brilliant stay for a great price. The apartment was beautiful and clean, with all the modern conveniences, including a dishwasher and microwave. They even left a carton of milk for our arrival.
