This was the best place we stayed on our Scotland trip. The owners were attentive and gave us useful ideas for places to visit and restaurants. The flat was cosy, clean and welcoming, just a few minutes from the centre of inverness. We liked having an en-suite bedroom for the parents and a separate room with two single beds for the children.

John’s tours were awesome. He’s really knowledgeable and takes the time to bring you to places you’re interested in. Caroline was a wonderful, attentive host too, and the location was great. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, even washer detergent. Caroline also suggested a bunch of great restaurants.

We loved the place and would stay again, but we finished two long days with cold showers because the hot water was on a timer. Call ahead to have the timer adjusted for when you expect to shower. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay.

John and Caroline made us feel very well looked after. We spent three days in their exceptionally clean, comfortable home, on a quiet street but still within walking distance of the town centre and lots of restaurants. A well-deserved five stars, and I’d give more if I could.

It was so quiet despite being close to shops, restaurants and the city centre. The place was spotless and had excellent facilities. Lovely place to stay, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
