Heather made our three nights at Crown House feel like staying with an old friend. She was warm, welcoming and full of useful help, drawing on her travel industry experience to understand what visitors need. From our first email, I could tell this wouldn’t be an ordinary B&B, and she lived up to that. She recommended restaurants and the best walking routes to them. The house is lovely, clean and well equipped, in a quiet neighborhood that’s convenient for downtown Inverness and the main roads to places like Colloden Battlefield and museum. Our room was comfortable, with a small fridge and a little magnifying mirror that helped me do my makeup without my glasses. The ensuite was gorgeous and spacious, with a large light-up mirror and luxurious towels. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, enough that we could skip a big lunch while sightseeing. I hope to return to Scotland and Invernness, and will definitely stay with Heather again.

Heather made our two nights at Crown House easy and relaxing, and gave us tips for our first trip to Scotland. She even booked dinner reservations for us. Breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs with salmon, which I highly recommend. The house felt welcoming and was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and having off-street parking helped a lot. Crown House felt like a home away from home. We’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Inverness, and you won’t be disappointed.

We knew we’d have a lovely stay as soon as Heather opened the door. She was an amazing, informative host, and the breakfast was outstanding. We enjoyed chatting with her and experiencing typical Scottish hospitality. Her beautiful home comes highly recommended.

The breakfasts were filling and delicious, and the house was comfortable and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. Heather was so welcoming and warm. She arranged taxis for us, and when the taxi let us down, she even found another way to get us to the marathon start. Seeing Mocha every day also made us miss our dogs a little less.

We felt cared for and comfortable here. The host was friendly, helpful and glad to suggest places for dinner and sights to see, and every suggestion was spot on. Breakfast was a wonderful full meal with options, and the rooms were lovely. An amazing guest house, highly recommended.
