We had a fabulous stay. The pool, gym, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi were all spotless and available for us to use whenever we wanted, which was a lovely way to unwind. The staff were cheerful and friendly, and happy to help with anything. The hotel was beautifully furnished with Christmas decorations that made it really cosy for the season. Breakfast was fantastic, with a huge range of meats, eggs, hot buffet dishes, yoghurts, and juices, and the breakfast hours worked well too. Our room was tidy and, to our surprise and gratitude, was serviced daily. It was lovely to return after a long day to a made-up room. The in-room Nespresso machine was great as well. Thank you!

I spent the whole evening and most of the next day in the spa, doing the jacuzzi, pool, and steam room on repeat, even on the morning I left. The hotel was popular for afternoon teas when I arrived. I was delighted by the fresh cheese and freshly cut fruit at breakfast, along with the huge selection of cooked breakfast items. Saturday's breakfast was made to order, while Sunday's was a self-service buffet. After booking, I called reception with a few questions. Ale was incredibly helpful and reassuring, which made me feel less anxious about the weekend. She was also there when I arrived and sorted out the Cathedral parking permit from the Spa. She'd upgraded my single room to a double, which was amazing. I chose not to have the room cleaned or towels changed, and got a mini bottle of red as a thank-you. I enjoyed it after finally emerging from the spa. We often stay on the outskirts of Inverness, but this time I wanted a poolside splurge and a chance to relax on my own after an incredibly rough 2025. I'll definitely be back.

The pool, gym, and sauna area were nice, and my room was clean, had good amenities, and looked out at the castle. The staff were all excellent, especially friendly and helpful. A special mention to Chloe (I think) and Fiona at reception. For the price, the room felt quite small. The bathroom was tiny, and the rooms aren't soundproof. I was woken several times by people walking past my door in the morning and by showers in adjoining rooms. Still, it's a good location and the staff are friendly, so I'd stay again, maybe in a different room.

The location couldn't be better, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We had a great experience, with an amazing pool, breakfast, and room, and everything was clean.
