The breakfast was lovely, home-cooked and a great start to the morning. The lady who runs the place was attentive and really friendly. It’s an old-style house with a lot of charm, though the decor could use a little freshening up. It sits on a hill, parking is limited, and it’s not very clear from the road what the place is.

Alpine Villa is a great-value place to stay in Ipswich, with facilities that were just right. The lady of the house made us feel very welcome.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work. The rooms are clean and nice, and the owner is lovely and welcoming. I have to start early, so I still haven’t managed to try breakfast.
