Hayden made our arrival in Suffolk so welcoming. He checked us in with such kindness and politeness, then pointed us to good places nearby, which helped us have a brilliant time. I’m grateful he was working the day we arrived, and he’s the reason I’d come back. The hotel itself was amazing too, with comfortable beds and lovely service.

I had a very bad experience here. The room had no air conditioning and smelled unpleasant, though the first six days were fine. When the manager was there today, I felt she was overbearing and then tried to make herself seem like the victim. She said I had behaved inappropriately, which I say is a lie. She sent me out of the room, and I felt she hadn't treated me properly. I called the police, and they saw how much I had paid. This really isn't fair. No one came to look at the air conditioning, and it still needed an engineer or an air conditioning technician. I'm looking for somewhere to stay for New Year's Eve now, at a price that isn't the same. Be careful. The manager is a perfect liar. I don't think she's the right person for this job; it would be easier if she were a cleaner.

Paul at reception sorted out my booking mistake kindly and without any fuss. The staff at Ipswich EasyHotel are polite and professional, and I regularly stay at Ipswich Town Centre EasyHotel because the rooms are always affordable, clean and comfortable. It’s in a good town centre location, so I’d highly recommend it.

For the price, the room is nice and fairly comfortable. There is a ticking sound outside, a bit like a bus air brake, though it seems to come from something digital rather than a clock. If you're really tired, it probably won't bother you.
