It was a lovely place to stay, with easy access to Ipswich's amenities. I appreciated being able to come and go whenever I wanted, knowing the premises had efficient security. The house was very clean, and the shared kitchen and laundry equipment were modern, clean and easy to use. They even had town maps available, which came in handy. I'd recommend this guest house.

Carol, the owner, gave us such a warm welcome and asked if we'd visited Ipswich before or needed directions to places of interest. The what's-on guide was a nice touch too. Our bright, fresh and spotless room was fabulous, with a mini fridge stocked with plenty for breakfast, plus tea, coffee and hot chocolate whenever we wanted. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time, and it was so peaceful. Even the invigorating shower had proper water pressure. We only stayed one night and wished we'd booked longer. I'd gladly recommend Grove Guest House and stay again if I'm in the Ipswich area. Elaine and Philip.

The breakfast provisions were extremely generous: yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, cereal bars, a small loaf of bread, cheeses, jams, marmalade and more. I especially appreciated the Rombouts coffee filters. Since we were going to a concert at the nearby Regent theatre, the Grove was perfectly placed for us. Our clean, well-equipped room had a kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave, and the en suite lavatory and shower had quality fittings.

Quiet, very clean and comfortable, with a kitchen you can use that has all the amenities, including a cooker and microwave. It's close to the town centre but not on a busy road, so there's no traffic noise, which is always a bonus. The beds were comfortable too. I'd definitely come back if I was working nearby.

Wicked place, it's got everything you need in the room: filter coffee, a selection of cheese, bread, jams, cereals and fresh milk, plus a fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle. Highly recommend :-)
