The bar and breakfast area made for a relaxed place to have our meals, since we couldn’t try the dining room. The food was amazing. I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten, and our Golden Retriever got a sausage at breakfast both mornings. The staff made such a fuss of her. Everyone was fabulous, warm and helpful, from our welcome to the excellent bar and breakfast service. Nothing was too much trouble. Our spotlessly clean room was just right for us and our dog, and she had a small balcony to sit on and watch the world go by. We spent a wonderful couple of days at Seckford Hall. There was a wedding on, but it didn’t affect our stay. The only small drawback was rather low water pressure, hardly worth mentioning. We’re very much looking forward to returning.

Breakfast was five-star, with freshly cooked choices, a wide menu and very good service. The room was spacious and looked out over the gardens, and all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. It’s a convenient spot about a mile outside Woodbridge, with parking on site. I’ll stay again, though I hope to book a slightly less expensive room next time. I paid £250 a night for one person.

A lovely, relaxing spa morning. The spa is beautiful, with a great outdoor space when the weather allows, and all the staff were really helpful. Lunch was delicious, with plenty of choice and generous portions. We’ll definitely visit again.

Our wedding here a few weeks ago was a huge success. The venue was gorgeous, the food tasty, and the staff incredibly helpful throughout. They sorted all the setup for us, including the gorgeous honeymoon suite, so all we had to do was turn up. Everything was ready the next day for us to load into the car, too. We had no complaints at all. It really was superb. Thank you, Seckford! We’ll be back! Xx

We were blown away by the Seckford staff from our first contact, right through to our wedding in April 2026. Grace showed us around at the consultation and patiently answered all our questions, even the silly ones. We knew nothing about planning a wedding, and she put us at ease. After that, it was easy to stay in touch with the weddings team while we made the day exactly how we wanted it. On the day, Ieauf coordinated everything brilliantly. He handled the whole event with ease and professionalism, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was excellent, and our guests had lovely things to say about it. We had an amazing day. Grace, Ieuaf and everyone at Seckford deserve huge praise for making it such a success, and they’ll always have our heartfelt thanks. Dan & Beth
