We were so glad we booked four nights at Cruickshanks over Easter. The garden suite gave us plenty of room and privacy, and those thoughtful extras made it feel special, from the fire lit for our arrival to cupcakes delivered each day. Rob and Nanette were lovely hosts. We got a lot out of Rob's local advice on walking and cycling around Arran, especially since he helped us think through the weather as well. They stored our bikes, gathered up our wet clothes after a soggy ride, and took a real interest in what we'd been doing. On departure day, they also kept us posted about the ferry fiascos, which we really appreciated. Breakfast set us up well. We especially liked the cooked Scottish breakfast and its black pudding, along with Nanette's muesli, Rob's jam, and the good loose tea. We felt thoroughly looked after. Thanks again.

The breakfasts were superb, and we had a wonderful two-night stay at Cruickshanks. Nanette and Rob were warm, engaging and full of useful information. Our Garden room was clean, very well appointed, and a lovely place to retreat to.

The trail to Glenashdale Falls and the Giant's Graves is really close by, and our stay was easily the best B&B I've had. We were the second guests at CruickShanks, and Rob and Nanette were welcoming and helpful throughout. You can tell they put a lot of time and care into the place. We stayed in the Pearl suite, which was gorgeous, with lovely sea views. Rob made a superb breakfast, and Nanette's afternoon tea was wonderful. Her banana bread is delicious and wheat-free, so be sure to try it. My partner enjoyed the place so much that he made a little video on his phone of the living room and breakfast. We left feeling our stay had been even better than we'd hoped. If we're back in Arran, we'd stay here again.

The room was beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and a wonderful view. Rob and Nanette made us feel right at home, and their warmth and care extended to me and my fellow travelers. We had delicious breakfasts and spectacular views. This B&B exceeded what I expected and was a tremendous place to rest. Many thanks, we'll return!

We stayed at Cruickshanks B&B with two friends and had a wonderful time. The cozy library and sitting room was a lovely place to have breakfast, and the rooms were well equipped. Nannette and Rob gave us a warm welcome and thoughtful, personal service. With its beautiful outlook over the Firth of Clyde, it made a perfect base for exploring the Isle of Arran.
