The cathedral grounds are beautiful and spacious, and the cathedral itself is lovely. I came across it by chance. It's the UK's smallest cathedral and only minutes from Millport town, so worth a quick visit if you're nearby. I bet it's lovely in summer.

I hadn't heard of this place until I spotted the roadside sign. I drove up because of access issues, as people usually walk up the drive or steps. An interesting place with a peaceful atmosphere.

We came specifically to see the Cathedral of the Isle. It's a lovely, quiet and peaceful spot, and Britain's smallest cathedral. Well worth a visit.

Having breakfast in the Refectory and afternoon tea in the cloister made our stay especially relaxing. We were delighted that we could also enjoy the amazing library and other rooms. Our bedroom was comfortable, and we had private use of a lovely common room with a grand view. I was particularly pleased to find a Scottish Wild Flowers book, which came in handy on our walks and cycle around the island. Our client stay at the cathedral was grand, with a warm welcome and enthusiastic staff adding to the experience. We look forward to returning.

Perfect, just a ten-minute walk from garrison cafe. Do go, and look for the small chapel right at the back.
