Pabbay House was a peaceful, immaculate place to spend our 10 days on Lewis. It was well equipped, and the Wi-Fi was superb, so I was able to work really well there. The location is handy for Pocket House Studios if you’re learning to weave, and also makes a great base for the whole island. Boyd and Barbara gave us such a generous welcome. We loved our holiday there, thank you so much!

The location worked really well, close to Stornoway but tucked away on its own croft, with a woodland walk and beach nearby. We had a great time at Pabbay House and felt very well looked after by the lovely hosts. They even brought us a new cot for our son when he turned out to be a bit big for the travel cot provided.

The grounds and accommodation were gorgeous, and the location made it easy to reach the Lewis and Harris beaches we wanted to swim at. We’ve just had a glorious stay at Pabbay House and loved it. If you’re planning a trip to these wonderful islands, this is a great choice.

The garden was lovely, quiet, very clean, and delightful and safe for both children and pets. The owners had clearly taken great care with the house: lovely linen on a super bed, and a fire laid ready to light. The kitchen had everything, from herb teas, hot chocolate and packed lunch equipment to muffin cases. There were also salmon, eggs and homemade cake.

The peaceful woodland walk right next door was beautiful, and sandy beaches were nearby too. Stornoway’s amenities were just a short drive away. The house was lovely, immaculately maintained and fully equipped, in a beautiful location.
