Wardicott

Rod helped us make the most of our two days at Wardicott. He’s a lovely gentleman and a font of local knowledge, so we got to see the best of Lewis. Our room was immaculate, and breakfast was hearty and cooked to order. We loved staying with Rod and Gloria. First-class hospitality throughout, highly recommend Wardicott. Thanks to you both ♡.

We had a lovely week, and everything felt just right, from the accommodations and meals to the warm, kind hospitality of our hosts. I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend the Wardicott to anyone.

Rod made us feel at home straight away, offering tea, coffee, whisky and cake before we’d even unpacked. After the cake, he shared travel advice and insider tips for the area, including a beach we wouldn’t otherwise have found. The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. You can tell he really cares about making his guests comfortable. We had a wonderful time, our personal favourite of the trip. Thanks, Rod!

I really enjoyed my four nights with Rod and Gloria. They were fantastic hosts, and their two Pomeranian dogs deserve a mention too. I was working on the isles and got back late each night, so I missed having a few wee drams from their well-stocked bar. If I’m ever back on the Isles for a break, this will be my choice. The breakfasts were fabulous, and the views from the rooms were simply amazing. Thanks for a great experience, Rod and Gloria. My firm transferred me to the southern isles.
