Air Leth Bed & Breakfast

The walk into the heart of Portree is short, and after a day out the spacious, spotless, comfortable room was a lovely place to unwind. Breakfast was delicious and brought right to us, a thoughtful touch. I came on a three-day Isle of Skye tour and the tour company had arranged the stay. I was a little unsure at first, but was pleasantly surprised by this charming B&B and its very kind couple. There are two walking routes. The alley shortcut is safe, though quite dark at night, so I'd suggest using the well-lit street for a more comfortable walk. The stay exceeded my expectations, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Skye.

Air Leth was our favourite place to stay on our whole Europe trip. The views were beautiful, the people were so sweet, and the Scottish hospitality was unmistakable. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, and breakfast was delicious. Our tour company booked the accommodation and we paid when we arrived. Can't recommend them enough, a must-book in Portree!

Our tour bus was picking us up at 8:15, so we asked if breakfast could be served before the usual 8am start. They accommodated us. The room also had fruit and cereal, which isn't our usual dinner, but it filled us up on a rainy night when we didn't feel like walking into downtown Portree for food. Our tour group had dropped us off, and we were staying here with my girlfriend. The room had a beautiful countryside view. If I return to the Isle of Skye, I'll stay here again.

The room had a lovely view. It's a bit far from everything and the wifi is wonky, but if that doesn't bother you, you'll have a great time. Highly recommend!
