An-airidh Bed & Breakfast Portree

We loved staying at An-Airidh. It was really quiet, yet just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The room and bathroom were very clean, and there was plenty of room to put our gear away. Breakfast was delicious and brought to our room, with a romantic view over Loch Portree. If you're after an authentic stay, this is the place.

Our host was gracious and helpful, and gave us all the privacy we wanted. Breakfast was made to order and delicious, and the room was well appointed. We had a delightful stay on Skye, just as we’d hoped. As a travel advisor, I’ll definitely add this host to my list.

Alan made our three day Isle of Skye tour a good memory, and was kind and helpful throughout. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, and the bed was comfortable. We had a great view of Portree Harbour from the window each morning. He took our breakfast order when we arrived, then served the delicious meal right on time and just as requested. It was handy to have free WiFi, a mini fridge in the main room, and a towel warmer in the bathroom. The B&B is on the south side of town, but only a 15 minute walk from the lively town square, with its shops and restaurants.

The view over the lake changed throughout the day, and we were so happy with the accommodation. Allen was a delightful host who went out of his way to look after us, and we really enjoyed hearing his stories about Skye. Breakfast was great, and having parking was appreciated. Book early!
