We stayed for four days just before Christmas, and it felt like magic. The owners had left a hamper of Christmas treats and made the place feel like home. After spending our days out in the wilderness, it was lovely to come back to the quiet, with beautiful views, about 15 minutes from Portree. The bed was super soft, the bathroom facilities were great, and having laundry came in clutch. I'd love to return in summer.

Even with the weather being poor, we felt lucky to have booked this apartment. It was comfortable enough to feel like home, and I loved the bed and shower so much I wanted to take them with me when we left. Nothing was missing, and the care put into our stay stood out compared with other places that aren't privately owned. We were welcomed with wine, bread, delicious fudge and other goodies. The chalet also has a lovely porch. We didn't get to use it, but I can imagine ending a day on Skye there with a glass of wine and the sunset.

A gorgeous little self-contained paradise, with a lovely view. It's within driving distance of the area's must-see spots, and the people running it are the sweetest and most attentive. I'd come back in a heartbeat 💓

A lovely chalet and a great base for touring Skye. Everything you need is there, and the main attractions are nearby. The owners are really helpful too.
