A lovely little pod in a quiet part of Skye, perfect if you’re after glamping. The view is stunningly beautiful, and the host was really helpful, with lots of useful information. Inside, it was immaculately tidy, with a great little kitchen and bathroom.

The hospitality won me over completely. Colin is the best host I’ve ever had, and everything about the experience was fantastic. The pod sits in a beautiful spot right by the coast. Inside, everything was top-notch, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged. Simply splendid, the very best.

You can sit on the porch and see the water, with songbirds in the field next door to watch and listen to. A few miles down the Sleat peninsula, there’s a spectacular hike to a white sand beach and a modern lighthouse. Nearby, there are pubs, restaurants and a store for provisions. The cozy cottage itself is ingeniously designed, well equipped and feels like it was built yesterday. It has all the modern conveniences: plenty of outlets, strong WiFi, on demand hot water, a great bathroom and shower, plus a mini fridge, microwave, hotplate, sink, glasses, dishes and silverware. Colin is a responsive, helpful host, and even provides a French press, freshly ground coffee and milk for your morning ritual. Five stars!

A cozy place with a very nice host. There’s enough space for two, though getting in and out of the bed area isn’t the most comfortable. There’s also a small local pub 300m down the street.
