Skye Backpackers

We booked a room for four, and it was great value for the price. It had a pleasant view, and the bathroom was clean. Private parking was very convenient, and the shared kitchen was spacious and fully equipped. The facilities were clean, the staff welcoming and the atmosphere friendly. An amazing place to stay, and I'll definitely come back.

The shared spaces were clean and had a lovely atmosphere, and parking was good. Staff were polite and helpful. They let us check in early so we could go explore the town, and suggested a tour to see the cows that we loved so much! It's in a very good location, close to lots of gift shops and cafes, and the room was clean.

The free tea and coffee were good, and the staff were helpful. The location was good too, but this was the worst hostel of our six weeks in Scotland. We booked four nights four months ahead, and paid too much for a room where every mattress was thin. Our dog has a better bed. Then they charged us more because it was apparently a bank holiday weekend. There weren't enough toilets or showers for the number of guests, and the shower fan was so loud it woke people up. There was no hot water for a shower on the morning we left. Out back, the caravans made the place look like a dump. I'd be interested to find out if they're legal. Don't book here, it's rubbish.

We loved staying at Skye backpackers. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond. I'm very grateful they helped me track down a lost item that meant a lot to me. Thank you!
