We stayed at the lodge for the week of our elopement, and Nigel went out of his way to make the stay what we wanted. He was welcoming and accommodating, and even found and returned some treasured jewellery I thought I’d lost. The lodge is really cosy, and its interior feels connected to the surroundings. The bed and bedding were pure luxury, so comfortable. Everything about our time there was perfection. I can’t recommend the lodge on the loch enough, it’s worth every penny!

The setting felt wonderfully private and quiet, but town and the island’s sights were still convenient to get to. My friend and I had a spectacular week at Storr Lodge on the Loch. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with an easy, casual elegance, and the views are otherworldly. I can’t wait to return.

The check-in was easy, and we got clear instructions about the house amenities plus local suggestions for places to visit. The house was cosy and comfortable, and its location worked really well as a base for exploring Skye. We had a remarkable stay and can’t wait to come back. Don’t delay, just book it. The house sits on Storr Loch, close to the Old Man of Storr, with beautiful views of both from inside. It was a perfect place to stay on the Isle of Skye.
