The Roses B&B

Set a little above Portree, the guesthouse is peaceful and makes a great base for exploring the Isle of Skye's many highlights. Andy and Lian put so much care into making it feel like a home away from home. They're incredibly attentive, and breakfast is lovingly made and delicious. They even send you off for the day with a slice of homemade cake. Excellent guesthouse.

There's a bit of a walk uphill, but the setting is delightful and the full lounge for guests came in handy on a wet, blustery day. We had a double room with a private bathroom across the hall, and the bathrobes provided made that no problem. Andy and Lian Na take great pride in their service, and the B&B was immaculately clean. They're lovely, friendly, and helpful hosts.

Just a brief walk up the hill from town, and they can also recommend or arrange taxis. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and Andy and Lian were responsive, welcoming, and very sweet. They served a delicious range of breakfasts, too. We'd definitely stay here again!

Andrew and Lian clearly put a lot of effort and love into their home and B&B. The bedroom was fantastic, with its private bathroom just across the corridor. We had an amazing full Scottish breakfast, and the gluten-free options were delicious as well. It was a great experience, and we hope to see them again.
