The breakfasts were fantastic, and the room was clean with a lovely garden view. We were in town for a wedding reception at Shilstone House, just a few minutes' drive from Woodmeads, which worked out perfectly. After our five-hour journey, Neil & Margaret welcomed us with tea and biscuits in the lounge. They were kind, funny and full of useful information, and were happy to help with anything. We'd happily recommend Woodmeads.

The garden is lovely, with lots of places to sit and a big pond at the back. There's plenty of parking at the front, too, and the rural setting is peaceful. Neil and Margaret are friendly, reliable hosts who really go out of their way for guests. Breakfast was generous, delicious and varied, one of the best I've had. The Woodmeads is very clean, with excellent bedrooms and smart modern bathrooms. My wife and I will definitely come back.

We felt so welcome thanks to Neil and Margaret. The bed was SOOOO comfortable, and the room had everything you'd need. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, too. What an amazing place, and thank you for the hospitality 💜

We had an amazing three-day stay at this hidden gem. The rooms were spotlessly clean and really comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. Neil and Margaret made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Hope we can visit again soon, highly recommend.
