The room and bed felt very small, and the decor looked rather run-down. The bathroom, though, seemed modern, so perhaps they’re updating the place in stages. Staff were friendly, the location was great, the price fair, and breakfast fine. A good choice for a short stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable, and the host was attentive and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious too. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to Jedburgh.
Lovely owners, good breakfast, comfortable beds and generously sized rooms. Couldn’t ask for more.
I know hospitality is a tough business, but that doesn’t excuse this experience. At reception, someone shouted through the glass, “Computer isn’t working.” The room was cold, and even after I turned on the radiator, it was still stone cold 45 minutes later. I went back to reception and rang both the push-button bell and the hand bell, but nobody responded. There were phone numbers on the door, but I didn’t have confidence anyone would answer. I moved to another place, where I got a warm welcome, a warm room and positive contact with staff. Sorry to be so negative, but that was my experience. Avoid unless desperate.
We stopped for a quick pint on Wednesday evening on our way home. The bar staff were friendly, and dogs are welcome. It’s a small bar with only a few beers to choose from, and the atmosphere was very quiet, just us and one other chap at the bar.
