The location worked perfectly for the workplace I was visiting, just five minutes down the road, and the rooms were nicely kept with everything I needed for work. Parking on the street was a little limited, though it was very early December 2025, before the Christmas party rush, and I’m sure there were other options nearby. The restaurant was lovely and great value. Later, I had a couple of drinks with the owner and staff, who were lovely, and the service was brilliant. Jedburgh is clearly a lovely tourist trap at the right time of year. My only downside was that breakfast was continental only. I was the only guest, so I can’t blame them, and it was a lovely continental spread, but it’s just my personal preference. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come again.

The rooms are quality, the wine excellent, and the welcome warm. We came here after checking into a seriously over-rated hotel nearby, which had no heating and nothing else to recommend it. This place is worth every penny, so don’t skimp on a cheap option. Fabulous, seriously good. We’ll be back!

The eight dishes we tried were all delicious and beautifully presented. We stumbled across the restaurant, which looks modest but appealing from outside. Inside, the atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly. The menu's on the smaller side, though there's enough choice. I'd go straight for the three-course option, it's usually cheaper.

We were turned away even though the stated closing time was 20:45, which left us unhappy. It may have been an unfortunate oversight, and we hope it was a one-off. We'd like to feel more welcome if we come again. Thank you for understanding.
