The rooms were clean, bright and well appointed, with a pub style feel. The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and breakfast was just as good. A perfect place to stop along the St. Cuthbert’s way.

Templehall Hotel had a peaceful, lovely rural feel, and was spotless and well kept. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but really nice. A clean, comfortable place for a relaxing break, especially for Edge music festival.

We went for dinner, not to rent a room. The place had opened a week earlier under new management, and it was part of a nice community. Food and service were great, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was great too.
