We first stayed here last year while heading down to cornwall, and came back on sunday for the roast. We were visiting the cotswolds and weren’t going to be anywhere near the pub, but the Sunday roast was so delicious that we had to return just for it. It was amazing again, thank you. It was busy with sports on, but once things quieted down a bit, we enjoyed it.

A lively, proper local pub with excellent beer at good prices. It’s consistently excellent, and this is the kind of place pubs need to be to survive. Well done.

We went for a roast as a family of four, and the food was amazing. The service was fantastic, with friendly, attentive staff. I can’t say enough good things about the food. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’re lucky to have a pub this good in the village. Top stuff. 👍

The pork was tender, the crackling nicely crisp, and the vegetables cooked just right. We took a rare sunny Sunday as a chance for a drive into the countryside for a carvery, and it was well worth it. The food, drinks and service were all awesome. We’ll be making that drive again!
