Reggie and Ronnie loved it, and so did we. The owners were lovely, the rooms were lovely, and they’re so dog friendly. The breakfast was stunning. We’re definitely coming back. 10/10.

We loved having a cosy shared sitting room, with a fridge/freezer where we could chill Prosecco and meet friends for a drink before popping to the local pub. The hotel is an absolute gem, immaculate and warm. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was delicious.

The breakfast area is lovely and the food was really tasty. The owners are lovely, and everything was clean, cosy and warm. We slept comfortably in the beds and pillows, and it’s dog friendly too. Great value for money when visiting the lakes. We’ll definitely be back.

The bus stop is just round the corner, and we used the bus to get to Windermere, though it’s also a short drive away. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, served with a smile by lovely staff, and gluten-free was no problem. We’d stay again.
