Paul and Viri were wonderful hosts. They asked about our day trips and what we had planned, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The en-suite rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, with lots of thoughtful touches. There were fresh biscuits on the tea tray every day, and breakfast specials to keep things interesting. Thanks so much to you both.

I've stayed in plenty of B&Bs, and this one is really top notch. The host made us feel at home from the start. There are just three rooms in this lovely lodge. The other two were occupied by polite, pleasant couples while we were there, but it was so quiet that my sister was able to finish her thesis in our room. The guidebook in the room was full of useful details, including menus from nearby restaurants and discount vouchers for places to eat and activities. The host gave us good trip-planning suggestions while respecting what we were interested in doing ourselves. The neighborhood was peaceful, yet close to everything. Outside, all we could hear was the church bell. Our room was cleaned daily, and I couldn't find dust, even along the window edge. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was beyond what I expected. They even made delicious veggie sausages, which I could hardly believe. The room had everything we needed: a kettle, different teas including matcha, hot chocolate, homemade shortbread that made me abandon my weight-loss plan, and a hairdryer. An iron and ironing board were available if needed. I'll write more on the booking website and will definitely return. I'd book it for my parents' holiday too. Thanks, Paul and Viri. I've stayed at lots of good B&Bs, but yours felt different in a good way, and really impressed and inspired me. After my stay, I want to learn from that spirit and bring it into my own life.

The new owners are superb hosts, and breakfast is among the best around. The room does have a small TV. We came back, and the TVs were still small. We'll return next time we're in Keswick ❤️

My wife and I had a great stay at this superb 4-star B&B in beautiful Keswick, and we'd happily come back. Parking is on the street, but we never had trouble finding a space nearby. The hospitality was pleasant, and they seemed keen to do a little extra compared with some other B&Bs.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the food was outstanding. Paul and Viri made us feel very welcome and did all they could to make our visit a good one. Fantastic guest house, and we'll definitely return!
