Parking could be tricky, particularly if your car is parked first. It might be a problem if you’re planning a day out driving and the people behind you have gone walking. It worked out for us since we spent both days walking around Keswick. Room 4 on the top floor had a lovely view, was immaculate, and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts were delicious and well organised, with a form to fill out the night before. Tsige and Duncan welcomed us warmly, along with their wonderful dog Billy. The centre of Keswick is ideally located about a five minute walk away. We had a lovely chat with Tsige and Duncan when we came back the first night, and Duncan is from our region, the North East. They’re happy to help with any extra requirements. Our first stay here was very pleasant, and we’ll definitely stay again on our next visit.

The breakfasts were always a delicious, perfect way to start the day, and Keswick was ideally placed for walking around. A wonderful little bnb with fantastic, very accommodating hosts.

Caroline was so friendly at breakfast and had loads of local tips on places to visit and things to find. We loved the church and mountain view from our room, too. This was our second year at Ferndene Guest House, and we were welcomed warmly again. The room was beautifully clean, and breakfast came hot, well cooked, generous, and with plenty of choice. Ziggy and Duncan always make sure you have what you need. It's about a five minute walk into town and ten minutes to the bus station. We'll be back next year.

Getting into Keswick centre was an easy stroll. We were really impressed by the warm welcome and hospitality here, and our room was spotless and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. The Cumbrian breakfast was superb.

The hosts, Duncan and Tsige, were so welcoming and friendly, and breakfast had plenty of options with lovely, smiling service. I stayed six nights in an Annex bedroom, which was clean, well kept, and a comfortable place to relax. There was a great bed, a good shower, and all the storage I could need. Parking off the street was a real help, since spaces in Keswick matter, and the town square is only about a five minute walk away. I couldn't fault the stay. Perfect, thank you!
