We went to a wedding here and had amazing service. Everyone on staff was friendly, approachable and ready to help guests have a great time. The food was out of this world, and even my teenage son said it was the best he’d ever tasted. The views were breathtaking too.

The food at Ravenston Lodge was amazing, full of flavour and clearly cooked with care. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout, making sure we had what we needed and that nothing felt like too much trouble. We had an outstanding stay from the moment we arrived, and the service made it extra special. We can’t wait to return!

The staff were great, the food was amazing and the drinks weren’t ridiculously expensive. There’s a lovely outdoor area with beautiful views, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. I left my Kindle behind, and they posted it to me without charging, even though I’d offered. Lovely hotel, highly recommend!

Just wow. Two days after our five-day wedding stay, I’m still smiling. My wife and I want to thank everyone at Ravenstone Lodge. We felt like we’d made friends with the team, and we were gutted to leave. We’ll come back just to see them again. The wedding itself and the way they made every guest feel welcome were incredible. I can’t do the food justice here. We chose this as our venue in January 2026 after visiting at the start of the month. We’d spent one night at the Manor across the road, and Scott invited us to eat at the Lodge and see the place. Ellie and her team can really cook. For the wedding weekend, we took over the Lodge and a couple of rooms across the road for a couple of nights. We got our family under one roof and brought the others over for every meal. Having the place to ourselves made it feel intimate and helped us get to know the team. Friday was a relaxed outdoor BBQ, with far too much excellent food. Several family members told me, “They know our names!” Brett and Scott did a lovely job that night, and the personal touch carried on all weekend with Natasha, Andrea, Leo, Teresa, Marcus and Charlie. On Saturday, one family member said he sometimes couldn’t tell guests and staff apart. That says a lot about how welcome the Lodge Team made everyone feel and how well they got on with all of us. We had five children in the wedding party, ages 8 to 16, and not one complaint about the food all weekend. My nephew, who’s usually hard to get more than two words from, said it was the best steak he’d ever eaten. Our other guests were just as impressed with Ellie and Marcus in the kitchen. I put on 2kg over the weekend, so thanks for that. Whether you’re after a quiet couple of nights away, which we’ll do at some point, or a larger event like ours, they handle it all with ease.
