This was our third visit to the Lookout, and we’ve already booked again for next year. The views kept the older ones happy, while the younger ones spent time on the pool table and table tennis. There’s a bus stop just down the road for tired legs on the way back, and the old railway line into Keswick is nearby. The pub is less than five minutes away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Both ovens worked perfectly. Thanks again!

We spent seven days here over Christmas with 10 adults. The views are great in winter or summer, but the poor ovens in both parts of the accommodation made preparing Christmas dinner stressful. We’ve stayed in large places over Christmas in the Lakes, Northumberland and Scotland, and never had such trouble with cooking facilities. The views don’t make up for everything.

Our grandsons spent hours pond dipping, with an adult supervising. The Lookout has amazing views and a separate flat, which was a real bonus. The accommodation is to a very high standard, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you.

We’ve had the most amazing week in this house. There’s loads of room for everyone, the beds and sitting areas are super comfortable, and it’s lovely and warm. The views are amazing and the facilities incredible. It’s a fabulous luxury house, and I can’t really do it justice!
