Amy and Chris clearly know their stuff when it comes to breakfast, which was outstanding. The place was excellent, very clean and comfortable, and only a short stroll from the main square. We’ll look up Avondale on future trips to Keswick.

The owners are lovely and will do anything for you, and the rooms are nice. The homemade sourdough bread is a must try. It's only two minutes from the centre of Keswick. I've stayed twice and will certainly come back.

I've stayed here more than once, and Amy and Chris always make me feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are nice little extras like fresh milk and a small lounge with books to browse. Breakfast is great, just what you need before heading out around the Lakes peaks!

It’s on a quiet street but still so close to town. The hosts are great, the beds are comfy, the shower’s good, and breakfast is delicious. Thoroughly recommend.

Amy couldn’t do enough for us, and breakfast was great. We’ve just got back from a weekend break at this lovely place. The room was tastefully decorated in a modern style, with some superb little touches, including fresh milk, the lakes products, and marmite 😀.
