We had everything we needed to feel at home, with plenty in the cupboards and even more besides. The bed was comfortable, the shower was huge, and the hot tub was great. The hosts left us to enjoy the place on our own, which suited us perfectly. It’s a lovely little cottage, with fields on both sides and friendly horses in one of them.

We ended up staying in for dinner because the lodge had everything we needed for a relaxing night. There was also a welcome pack with nearby activity suggestions if we’d wanted to head out. The owners were lovely and helpful whenever we contacted them with questions. We stayed for my boyfriend’s birthday and had a great time. We’ll definitely return.

Spent the weekend at West mead. The cottage was beautiful, really clean, and had everything we needed. Couldn’t fault it, it’s a real gem. We’d definitely book again.

I had one of the best nights’ sleep I can remember here. It’s a great location, the property has all the amenities, and the hosts couldn’t have done more for us. We’ll 100% be back!
