I felt safe and secure here as a solo traveller. The location is quiet, with other guest houses nearby, yet only a five minute walk from the town centre. I spent three nights in Room 4 at Greystoke House. It’s a warm, welcoming guest house, with a comfortable ensuite room, a comfy bed, and a powerful shower. Breakfast had plenty to eat and a good variety. I’ll definitely return.

We kept our bikes in the storage area during our five night stay. Jon and Emma were friendly, helpful, and full of useful information. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from everything in Keswick town centre, and breakfast every morning was the best. My wife and I would definitely recommend Greystoke House.

We made good use of the Greystoke drying room, which had all our gear dry by morning after some challenging weather. Our room was huge, with an extremely comfortable king sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a lovely hot, powerful shower, just right after a wet walk on the fells. Jon was a perfect host, and Emma made delicious full English breakfasts each morning. We’ve just returned from a wonderful trip to Keswick and a lovely stay. Many thanks to Jon and Emma!

We love Greystoke and have had another fantastic stay. John, Emma, and the family are so welcoming and take care of what you need. Can’t wait to stay again 😁

My little dog and I were very comfortable in Room 4 on the top floor. We didn’t try breakfast, but the room was quiet and really comfortable, and the owners were friendly and relaxed. It’s perfectly placed for exploring Keswick on foot. Check-in was easy, the instructions were clear, and the rates were very reasonable. We’d definitely stay again!
