A lady at Little Town Farm let me park for free when I didn’t have the exact £5 for the honesty car park. It was a small gesture, but it made my day, and I’ll be booking one of their four glamping pods next time. I’d been there for a trip to catbells, and the pods have postcard-worthy views. Thanks again for the Christmas gift of free parking. See you soon 😊

Sarah is friendly, full of recommendations, and makes a lovely breakfast. The valley views are incredible, and there are walks right outside. It’s a real Lake District gem and a perfect BnB for enjoying what the lakes is all about.

We’re back again at our favourite place in the Lakes. The walks start right at the door, and the view from this peaceful spot nestled in Catbells is incredible. Sarah always welcomes us with a smile. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. It’s a lovely place to enjoy the best of the Lakes.

Breakfast was great, and the farm was active and friendly. We arrived very early, but the host let us in quickly. The room was small, with just a double bed and no TV, though it was very quiet. It’s very rural, so be prepared for a narrow farm track and sheep.

Sarah is a friendly host who’s happy to help and offer advice. There are lots of walking routes nearby, with options for different fitness levels. The setting is quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature, far from crowds, bustle, and heavy traffic. We slept in comfortable beds with nothing but birdsong through the night. You can walk here in about 1-1.5 hours or get a taxi from Keswick. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for simplicity, silence, and lovely scenery.
