Breakfast became something we looked forward to each morning. In the cosy conservatory, with the radio playing softly, there were cereals, fruit, yoghurt, and juice to help ourselves to, followed by a delicious cooked breakfast with toast, butter, jams, marmalade, tea, and coffee. The views over Skiddaw were beautiful, and our huge bedroom and en suite were spotless, well presented, and very comfortable. John, Eddy, and Matthew welcomed us so warmly and made us feel at home. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our anniversary weekend extra special. We felt thoroughly spoilt and can’t thank them enough. It was a memorable stay, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend! ❤️🥰

The room felt like a home away from home, with an exceptional bathroom and robes as a lovely luxury touch. John went above and beyond to make our anniversary and Baby-moon weekend wonderful. He was an extremely helpful, great host, and breakfast had a wonderful range for everyone. The B&B is in a beautiful, quiet spot with incredible views. Keswick has a lovely little weekend market and some nice pubs for an evening drink. We’ll be back next year, and now that we’ve found this gem, we won’t stay anywhere else. Thanks, John, see you next year.

The hosts were perfect, and the views are gorgeous. Our spotless room had everything we needed, including a huge bed, walk-in shower, and a bath with lights. There was a great choice at breakfast, and it was gorgeous. This is the best B&B we’ve stayed in yet, and we’ll definitely return.

John and Eddy were so welcoming and great hosts. The room was excellent, and the dining area and lounge were pristine, cleaned to a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic, with good locally sourced produce. We’ve stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels around the Country and abroad, but this is the best place we’ve stayed. We’ve booked again today. You can’t go wrong here. 5* for everything. Capt Dave.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and breakfast had very good choices. The bathroom was wonderful, and I’ve never had so much room in a UK stay. It’s a beautifully restored stone barn with a house and B&B, in a quiet village close to Keswick. Great find and the best bargain ever!
