We come back year after year and are always welcomed by the friendly family. The accommodation is clean and the breakfasts are marvellous. Simply the best, thank you all.

A lovely atmospheric setting for a delightful Shepards hut.

Keswick centre is only a seven-minute drive away, but this is a quiet, relaxing spot with plenty of short and long walks accessible nearby. It's my second stay in the beautiful little Shepherd's Hut in Millbeck, which has everything you need for a peaceful break. The mountain and field views are stunning, and you can see Derwentwater from here too, hence the name. Perfect place. I love it and will be back.
